Return/Exchange Process

The customer must email Ultimate Dancewear Customer Service (info@ultimatedancewear.online) to receive authorization for all items they wish to exchange or return within 14 days of product delivery. Emails requesting a return or exchange after the 14 day period will not be honored. If the customer receives authorization to return or exchange their items, they will be presented with a Return Authorization number. Upon receiving a Return Authorization number, you have 14 days for the merchandise to arrive at our facility. The return authorization number is to be written on the outside of the package that is being returned. No returns or exchanges will be honored after the 14 day timeframe. No returns or exchanges will be accepted without a Return Authorization number. The customer is responsible for the cost of all shipping and handling fees to return the item(s) back to Ultimate Dancewear.

 

For items shipped incorrectly, a return shipping label will be issued to the customer at no cost. The customer is responsible for emailing us to make us aware of the incorrect items within 14 days of product delivery. Once we have been contacted and made aware of the possible problems, the original item(s) to be corrected must be returned to Ultimate Dancewear within 14 days. If the incorrect item is not received back within 14 days, the original item(s) will not be refunded or exchanged. Please allow 1-5 business days for the processing of your return or exchange from the time your item(s) are received and approved.

 

Whether a customer is returning or exchanging an item(s), they must fill out an Exchange & Return Form for written record of their return or exchange. The customer must place the Exchange & Return Form within the returning packaged before shipping it back to Ultimate Dancewear.

Ultimate Dancewear is not responsible for lost or stolen return packages. We recommend using FedEx or UPS for faster mailing service and to track your returns.

 

*** The following items are final sale items that are non-exchangeable, non-returnable, or non-refundable: tights, undergarments, special-order items, books, CDs, DVDS, makeup, foot care items (foot creams, toe pads, pointe shoe accessories, etc.), discontinued, and clearance items.

 

 

Return/Exchange Policy 

Refunds for eligible returned items will be issued using the method with which the customer placed the order. Customers are subject to a 15% Restocking Fee for all returned items. Please allow 7 to 10 business days for your refund to post to your account. Please note that depending on your credit card company it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied for it to post to your account.

 

Customers may return an item(s) and exchange it for the same item(s) in a different size or color. The customer will be responsible for all shipping and handling to return the item(s) back to Ultimate Dancewear. However, Ultimate Dancewear will cover the shipping and handling cost to have the exchange item(s) returned back to the customer. If a customer wishes to exchange their item(s) for a different item(s) simply return the item(s) for a full refund minus the shipping and handling charge and the restocking fee then place a new order for the replacement item(s).

 

Once your return is received and inspected (usually within 72 hours of receipt), your refund or exchange will be processed if the following criteria is meet:

 

  • Regular in-stock item

 

  • New condition—All items must be unworn, unused, unaltered and in their original packaging with original tags attached.

 

  • Laundered items cannot be returned.

 

  • Damage items or sized altered item(s) will not be accepted for a refund or exchange. No exceptions.

 

  • Once the item has been worn, washed, or altered it no longer qualifies for return or exchange. If the item is found to have been worn, used, washed or altered, the item will be shipped back to the customer at their expense.

 

  • Shoes must be returned in perfectly new, unmarred, and unsoiled condition. There must be no sign of wear on the soles of the shoes for them to be accepted for a return.

 

*Special note: Make sure your feet are clean and dry before trying on a new shoe. If your feet are damp or if the shoe is too tight, imprints will be left inside of the shoe and you will not be able to return the shoe. Shoes soil easily. Therefore, we suggest you prepare a clean area for trying your shoes on. It is recommended that you try your tap shoes on a carpeted floor only to prevent getting scratches on the taps. Taps with scratches, soiled shoes, and shoes with imprints are all non-returnable. You should never wear your dance shoes outside! 

The original shoebox and/or packaging must be placed in another mailing/shipping container or box. Please do not tape and/or label the shoebox or item package and mail back to Ultimate Dancewear. Your package will get destroyed and the product cannot be accepted for return because the product will be considered unsalable. Shoes shipped without the original shoebox or items shipped without the original packaging will be charged a $6.00 replacement fee for each item.
